Reconnecting with friends and nature

A little weekend getaway at this beautiful log cabin was such a pleasure. There was plenty of space for 6 of us and the features/amenities of this home are amazing! We even used the telescope to get a glimpse of the moon! About a 15 min walk or short drive to the Frio River we were able to cool down from the heat and enjoy the beauty of the River. This log cabin truly takes you away from the fast paced life and allows you to relax in the peacefulness of nature.

A wonderful experience

This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for my kids and me! We were lucky to be some of the first guests to enjoy this beautiful home, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The views were breathtaking, and the nearby river was a highlight of our trip—just a short ATV ride away. My kids had the best time stargazing at night and watching hikers make their way up the hill during the day. There was plenty of room for them to run around outside, and they loved having their own beds to crash in at the end of the day. Meanwhile, I enjoyed the peace and quiet of having my own room, and the beds were so comfortable that we all slept like babies. The shower and tub were amazing—luxurious and relaxing after a long day of exploring. The entire place was so well-organized, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. We ended our weekend with a scary movie marathon on the roomy couch, which fit all of us perfectly. This cabin has officially become a favorite spot for our family, and we’re already planning to make an end-of-summer trip here a tradition. Highly recommend for families looking for a peaceful and fun escape!
